Tetbury Dolphins Lawn Tennis Club We are a small friendly club with a mixed membership of like minded people covering all standards of tennis. Club sessions are conducted in a social atmosphere and played on two all weather courts in the beautiful surroundings of the Hare & Hounds Hotel at Westonbirt.  In the summer Club evenings are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.00 pm till dusk and on Sunday mornings from 10.00am till 1.00pm. In the winter months evening play is not possible however we still meet on Sunday mornings. In addition a group of lady members meet on a Wednesday morning and another mixed group meet on a Thursday or Friday afternoon. We also offer three FREE visits to the club to enable any prospective members to come along and join in the club sessions and meet the members with no obligation. For those of you who might feel a little tentative, Monday evenings in early season are designated "Rusty Racquets" allowing a gentle reintroduction to the game. For the more experienced player we enter five teams into the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire summer leagues playing in division one through to division six and two mixed teams in the Stroud winter leagues in division one and two. All members are eligible for selection and we are always on the look-out for anyone who would enjoy the challenge.  Throughout the course of the summer we hold three in house tournaments and a mid-summer barbeque all of which combine competitive tennis with an enjoyable social occasion. We usually finish the season with an evening meal at a local hostelry. In addition members are at liberty to book the courts at any time free of charge to enjoy social tennis with other members or invite non members as guests for a nominal fee. The Club is affiliated to the L.T.A. and as such is entitled to an allocation of Wimbledon Tickets every year. All club members, who are also members of "British Tennis", are invited to enter the ballot to receive a ticket if they so desire.  The whole ethos of the club is to enjoy playing tennis in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
