The club is now open for club sessions and play at other times with social distancing and hygiene precautions.
These are obviously unprecedented times and changing very rapidly too. It is our collective social responsibility to help ensure the virus is defeated as quickly as possible. Our overriding responsibility is to protect club members, visitors, the general public and to minimise any potential burden on an already overstretched emergency service.
The club had been allocated 6 pairs of Wimbledon tickets for 28 eligible members, including centre court and Men’s Finals tickets. As in previous years, eligible members would have been allocated 5 bids and successful bids would have been drawn from a hat either at the Jubilee tournament or at an alternative venue if Corona virus restrictions prevented tournaments being played. Unfortunately, not only has Corona virus prevented our own tournaments being played it has resulted in Wimbledon itself being cancelled. That being the case, there will be no draw this year – watch this space for next year’s draw.
Many thanks to all of you who joined up for LTA membership, on which the allocation of tickets is determined.

After two beautiful days harbouring in spring this closure is a loss to us all.
Thank you for your support and understanding but just for clarity:
